How to Use Kyowa Slow Cooker?

1. Place the base of the Slow Cooker on a dry and heat-resistant surface.
2. All food to be cooked in the Slow Cooker must be covered with liquid, gravy, or sauce. However, sauces should be prepared in a separate container before adding them to the Slow Cooker.
3. If you need to sauté ingredients before slow cooking, use a frying pan or any other cooking ware. Do not use the Slow Cooker for sautéing food.
4. Ensure that the Control Knob is set to OFF before plugging the unit into the power outlet.
5. Set the Slow Cooker to AUTO (5 to 7 hours), HIGH (4 to 6 hours), or LOW (8 to 10 hours) setting, depending on your desired cooking time.
6. The Auto setting cooks frozen food at a high temperature until it defrosts, then switches to a LOW setting to maintain a low cooking temperature.
7. Slow cooking retains the moisture of the food. If you wish to reduce moisture while cooking, remove the glass lid and simmer the food to evaporate excess liquids.
8. After you finish cooking, switch OFF and unplug the Slow Cooker. Use oven gloves when removing the Ceramic Pot from the cooker.

How to Clean Kyowa Slow Cooker? 

• Allow the slow cooker to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Wash the ceramic pot with warm soapy water, or you may use a dishwasher for cleaning. 
• To remove food residue in the pot, soak it with warm soapy water overnight, then rinse. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or abrasive objects (e.g., scrubbing pads or metal brushes).
• Clean the outer surfaces of the slow cooker with a soft, damp cloth. 
• Pat the slow cooker dry using a soft, dry cloth, and store it in a clean and dry place.
